Thompson Wine Dinner at Burnt Pine Golf Club + Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort
Event Description
Burnt Pine Country Club, the signature country club on Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort’s Burnt Pine golf course dubbed “The Crown Jewel of Florida Golf” by Golf Magazine, has partnered with the renowned Thompson 31Fifty Wines for a chef-driven, culinary experience on October 5 at 6 p.m. The exclusive wine dinner will include a multi-course menu expertly paired with small batch, handcrafted wines from the esteemed Russian River Valley. Embark on a refined culinary journey with piquant dishes like seared scallops with watermelon radish and citrus beurre blanc, Foie Gras with caramelized orange and brioche and Pork Belly with Pomegranate that will delight and intrigue guests when paired with the ritzy dinner’s palatable wine selections. The newly renovated Burnt Pine Golf Club immerses diners in a glamorous and dignified setting, which draws diners in to experience the menu, which showcases stately southern culinary traditions and distinctive, flavorful Gulf Coast cuisine. Burnt Pine Country Club is an opulent escape from reality, with a distinct atmosphere known for its rich wood tones and finishes that invoke the history and nostalgia of Florida golf. Both sophisticated and refreshing in style, Burnt Pine Country Club’s classic elegance continues at the bar, where nods to traditional elements like dark wood and gold accents are enhanced with lavish details such as beautiful teal and velvet seating and a marbled bar. Located in the magical Russian River Valley, Thompson 31Fifty Wines is a family owned and operated Sonoma County estate recognized for its bold and exuberant wines and innovative techniques. Founded in 2014, the vineyard specializes in their Estate Pinot Noir and Estate Chardonnay, standouts among their portfolio of complex, balanced wines for their unique and singular style. Guests are invited to enjoy the wines at their best with the carefully curated menu highlighting the elite craftsmanship and commitment to quality the vineyard is known for. The evening will be enriched by the presence of Val and Mike Thompson, Burnt Pine members and the esteemed winemakers behind the Thompson 31Fifty label, adding a personal and intimate touch to the night. Whether a wine connoisseur or simply a lover of indulgence, this event invites guests to sip, savor and experience the old Floridian elegance of the Burnt Pine Country Club. This evening of grandeur is limited in capacity, so we encourage early reservations to secure your place at this premier event.
