As a local leader in the area of Property Management, Newman-Dailey Resort Properties knows its most valuable asset is their incomparable team members. Newman-Dailey is currently looking for a qualified on-Property Maintenance Tech. This position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), and a minimum of two years Condominium Maintenance experience. The right candidate must also possess a License or Certification in at least one maintenance type skill plus maintain a CPO. Speaking, reading, and writing in English is also required. Vocational training/certification in one of the following areas: Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Carpentry or HVAC or five years of experience in Condominium Maintenance is a plus. Newman-Dailey is offering a $500 sign on bonus, salary commensurate with experience and full benefits. Drug screen is required. REPORTS TO: Maintenance Manager, Rental Manager, General Manager SUMMARY: Maintenance of property DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Make repairs to all areas of building and common areas. Perform work order maintenance for interior of units. Clean up of parking lot and pool area and empty all outside trash receptacles. Clean and maintain pool. Perform other tasks as directed by Maintenance Manager, Rental Manager or General Manager. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds Knowledge of plumbing, electrical and AC systems MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate or equivalent Previous experience helpful ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Maintain building, common areas and units in excellent repair. Keep a friendly demeanor with guests, owners and staff.
